 Ugep Donations

Patrick Eteng, EANA’s contact person on the ground, was quoted as saying, “What you see here is a demonstration of selflessness by our brothers and sisters sojourning abroad, it is not a show of wealth, it is giving back time.” Primary Healthcare Coordinator, Yakurr local government, Igiri Omini Arikpo, commended EANA for seeing the need to make this awesome donation. His words, “We were in dire need of this equipment, and now that we receive them as a worthy gift from our sons and daughters in North America, we are indeed grateful. They just made our work less cumbersome.” Community leader and village head of Usene, Ijom, Ugep Sylvanus Eteng, expressed surprise that “Our sons and daughters in EANA, came to our aid at a time we were becoming restless that this facility is yet to receive equipment from the government. “I am so happy to see all these equipment and I can only offer prayers to God on their behalf before we formally write to thank them for this wonderful show of kindness.

Ikom Donations

Stella Ekure, our EANA member was on the ground at Ikom and delivered the equipment. Stella stated, “EANA is a child born out of dire circumstances aimed at bringing our sons and daughters together, enhancing wellbeing, and engaging our people in Ekoi homeland on issues relating to their welfare. We desire to engage our people in the improvement of desolate living conditions. The medical outreach, therefore, represented a milestone in the realization of our founding member's project. We are all gathered here to renew our commitment to serve our people. Good health is the sine qua non of wellness and prosperity. We thank you all for joining us on this November occasion and hope that this will usher in a new dynamic and we are optimistic that these items would be judiciously used for the overall benefit of the health center.”

Ogoja Donations

Sonnie Okem EANA contact person on ground stated, “The donation from EANA could stand as an intervention to cushion the medical needs of the indigents in the rural communities.” He enjoined the officers of the benefitting health facility to effectively dispense the medical items as expected, while the sick should take advantage by accessing them according to specification. Representative of the Primary Healthcare Coordinator, Mrs. Mary Egede, the Community Chairman, Joseph Egbe, the Clan Head Buturo Thomas, and the officer in charge of the facility Mrs. Fatima Offum, appreciated the magnanimity of EANA outreach, describing the benevolence of the association as a genuine demonstration of love for their fatherland and being sensitive to agonizing medical provision at home.
